Remember when rediscovering the reassurance of school meant purchasing a few notebooks, a fresh box of crayons, and new shoes? Should you wore a uniform to high school, you probably got some of those too; otherwise, you got 1 or 2 new outfits. That has been it.
Well, times have changed. The availability list now contains items that was once furnished by the colleges – like scissors, glue and tissues. Every child uses a new backpack, notebooks, paper, pens (red, blue and black), glue sticks, ruler, tape, scissors, markers, folders plus a calculator. If you have two children and you shop the sales, you may still wind up paying out more than $100.00 in supplies alone. Knowning that doesn’t even count the brand new clothes your son or daughter “has to have” or perhaps the fees which might be needed for art projects, lab costs, etc.
Don’t even get me began on the supplies, including furniture and appliances, your youngster needs for college. Should it ever end?
Below are great tips for saving funds on oil painting set this year.
1) Recycle – Confirm whatever you have in your own home. It is likely you have assorted crayons, markers, colored pencils, etc. lying around the house. Put these together in a pencil box and will help save some dollars.
2) Re-use – Kids feel that last year’s backpack has got to go, but a quick trip through the washing machine can provide it new life.
3) Reduce – Does your son or daughter have a very notebook from a year ago that has three pages of written material within it and 77 blank pages left? Did you find this notebook from the trash – or worse – the garbage? Now is a great time to debate waste and keeping it low by letting essentially the most use possible from every item.
