BlackBerry 10.2.1 introduced the ability to install .APK files, let’s consider app files found in Android, directly to your phone. This throws the doors available to use a wide selection of Android apps on your own BlackBerry 10 device, it could be a Z10, Q10, Q5, Z30, or some different. This used to be possible via a long, convoluted process, but it’s less difficult now. Basically, if you cannot obtain an app in BlackBerry World, itrrrs likely that there are additional sources to your favorite app.

2: Get the APK file on your own BlackBerry
You can get an android apps download apk on your own BlackBerry by going to the foundation with your BlackBerry browser (which is the easiest option), e-mailing yourself the file, or moving the file directly from your personal computer in your phone by plugging them with a USB cable.

Step 3: Install the APK file out of your BlackBerry
Should you downloaded the APK out of your browser, the Downloads window needs to have already put their hands up asking you in which you wish to reserve it and what the filename should be; just tap the file when it’s done. If your download window isn’t there, it’s easy enough to have back. Tap the overflow menu button in the bottom-right (three little dots), and tap Downloads.

If your file was transferred to your phone in almost any alternative route, you can find it easily by tapping the magnifier icon through the desltop at the end in the middle and typing “.apk” in the search box towards the top. Anything you’ve moved over should arrive underneath the Documents and Files result. Just tap the main one you wish to install.

Your Android app should start installing after having a short “Processing” indicator. Tap the Install button in the top right, and tap Accept about the pop-up window which lets you know with the device permissions which might be required for the app to operate.

Extra information
The 1st time you install an .APK, you’ll be prompted to change off a safety setting which otherwise blocks setting up these files. The previous installation screen should return with a handy “Open” button replacing the “Install” button when it’s done. At that point, the app will now arrive alongside your other apps. Just swipe about the desltop from right to created a few times to get the icon and place it in whatever folder or desltop that suits you. Hold your finger about the icon as it were to get it around. One more thing you might want to do is hide the bar at the end with the screen. Just swipe below the superior in the event the app is open, and tap Hide bar.

Now, remember that there isn’t any guarantees that these apps will be advertised. BlackBerry does not run Android, it may just run Android apps. The Android app player in BlackBerry 10 is good, and will handle most of that which you throw in internet marketing. Test things out and inform us what’s working and what isn’t in the comments!
