I’m not sure when i got word of awakening mind. I recognize which i purchased it in March 2009 because I wrote the date inside the cover.

Once i tried to make out the print, however, I simply can’t understand it. Design for writing was perplexing. The ideas it contained baffled me. I had never before encountered such teachings. I wasn’t quite ready for it and quickly place it aside.

Then one day, a dear friend suggested that people form research group to be effective for the Course. I believe he was just as bewildered because of it as I was. But his suggestion was wise. He knew we might do together might know about was not capable of singing alone.

So a handful of us met the first time in July 2009. At this meeting, we tried to read a few pages with the Text — which forms the Course combined with Workbook for Students as well as the Manual for Teachers. What we read for the reason that first meeting made little sense to all of us. It left us frustrated.

Somehow — and that i don’t remember how — we chose to turn instead on the Workbook for Students, featuring its 365 daily lessons. We should are already divinely inspired within this decision, given it worked for us and it has continued to be effective from the time.

Now, greater than a couple of years later, we’re well into the Workbook for the second time. The daily lessons and in many cases the written text now make perfect sense. I now look ahead to doing the lessons each day once you have my first walk. I am looking forward to using the teachings included in the lessons into meditation where I will discuss all of them with my spirit guides. I am looking forward on the weekly study get togethers where we review and discuss the lessons that people worked on individually during the entire week.

ACIM has completely revolutionized my thought of the entire world, and that i have grown to be focused on it. The research get togethers normally leave me in a condition of bliss, because ACIM helps me remember all the stuff I knew when still in spirit but forgot after i drew the veil of forgetfulness over me and incarnated into this physical world.

Here’s one of them of how the Course has changed my thought of the entire world: I did previously think that this physical world is real and that it was developed by God, nature, and other forces external to me. I now are aware that I’ve been tricked by my five senses into believing this world is real. I now are aware that it had been I who come up with kind of world I see around me causing all of my experiences inside it. A few things i see “out there” is really simply a projection of what’s happening within my own mind. This physical world is surely an illusion, a hologram through which I will play and learn. None from it is real — I managed to get all up!

Thus, I am in charge of the sort of world I see around me and my experiences inside it. I’m not really a victim of life’s circumstances all things considered. Most people are not abusing me. God just isn’t punishing me. I see what I see, I experience what I experience, and that i feel what I feel because I decide to do so within my own mind.

There is absolutely no point in going “out there” to alter a specific item on earth. You are unable to control, manipulate, or fix it. This would be like seeing a cinema and stomping around destroy the screen as you can’t stand the film you’re watching.

The only method to change a specific item on the watch’s screen is to discover the projector in the rear of the theater and modify the film. The right way to change a specific item “out there” on earth is to change what’s “in here” in your own mind. Make positive changes to beliefs. Stop judging and condemning. Begin to practice unconditional love and acceptance. Once you do this, the entire world the thing is “out there” will start to change. You no longer will be trapped in unhappiness, pain, and suffering.

ACIM is very simple and easy unequivocal about this: You’ll be able to remain asleep within this physical illusion, dreaming it is real, so long as that suits you. Or you can awaken spiritually and discover that you have been asleep in Heaven all along. Jesus Himself said that Heaven will be here, all around us, but we’ve not been able to notice. Even as we awaken from the dream of this physical illusion, i will be capable to experience Heaven below on the planet.
