I’m not sure initially when i first got word of a course in miracles. I know that I purchased the book in March 2009 because I wrote the date within the cover.

Once i attempted to make out the print, however, I merely couldn’t realize it. The appearance of writing was perplexing. The minds it contained baffled me. I’d nothing you’ve seen prior encountered such teachings. I wasn’t quite ready correctly and quickly set it up aside.

Then, a dear friend suggested that we form a report group to be effective about the Course. In my opinion he was simply as bewildered about it when i was. But his suggestion was wise. He knew we could do together that which you has not been able to perform alone.

So a small number of us met initially in July 2009. At that meeting, we attempted to read a number of pages from the Text — which forms the program with the Workbook for young students and also the Manual for Teachers. What we should read in that first meeting made little sense to all of us. It left us frustrated.

Somehow — and I don’t remember how — we thought we would turn instead to the Workbook for young students, with its 365 daily lessons. We should happen to be divinely inspired on this decision, as it helped us and possesses continued to be effective ever since.

Now, a lot more than a couple of years later, we have been well in the Workbook for any second time. The daily lessons and in many cases the written text now make perfect sense. I now look ahead to doing the lessons each morning once you have my first mug of coffee. I am looking forward to using teachings contained in the lessons into meditation where I can discuss these with my spirit guides. I am looking forward to the weekly study group meetings where we review and discuss the lessons that we labored on individually through the entire week.

ACIM has changed my thought of the planet, and I are becoming dedicated to it. The analysis group meetings normally leave me in a condition of bliss, because ACIM is assisting me remember all the things I knew when still in spirit but forgot when I drew the veil of forgetfulness over me and incarnated into this physical world.

Here’s one example of precisely how the program has evolved my thought of the planet: I used to believe this physical world is real which was made by God, nature, and also other forces external to me. I now know that I have already been tricked by my five senses into believing our planet is real. I now know that it was I who made the type of world around me and all of my experiences inside it. Things i see “out there” is absolutely merely a projection of what is happening inside my own mind. This physical world is an illusion, a hologram in which I can play and discover. None of computer is real — I managed to get all up!

Thus, We are in charge of the type of world around me and many types of my experiences inside it. That’s not me a victim of life’s circumstances in fact. Most people are not abusing me. God isn’t punishing me. what I see, I experience what I experience, and I feel what I feel because I decide to do so inside my own mind.

There’s no time going “out there” to change a specific item on the globe. You cannot control, manipulate, or repair it. This could be like going to a movie theatre and stomping approximately tear down the screen as you dislike the film you’re watching.
