Motion 5 developers have announced a new animated effect entitled inMotion3D Shatter from Pixel Film Studios.

Smash and shatter footage or still pictures as 3D fragments explode to show the following image from Pixel Film Studios. Using the 3D camera and lights moving 5, users can take their shatter effect to another level. Spin, pivot or pan round the media since it shatters into hundreds of tiny pieces.
Control the shatter of any footage inside Motion 5 watching as 3D fragments and shards fly by the camera. inMotion3D Shatter’s animation is automatic and customizable, so users can just drag, drop a generator into the timeline, apply their media towards the Drop Zone, and watch as it shatters.
Use the controls within the inspector window to completely customize the Motion shatter template. Users can change the number, weight, gravity, thickness and impact with the shatter effect to make endless cool looks.
Users can also add photos, videos or color solids for their shatter effect. Simply drag Motion Effects into the timeline then apply it to the generator. When the media is inside the generator, users can uncheck the visibility box of the original media layer.
Designed for Motion 5, users can just drag and drop the generator to the timeline, after which adjust the look. With the 3D camera and light-weight sources for sale in Motion 5, users can cause more looks than ever before.
