How weddings have changed on the decades! From your handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight bridal party members; a simple wedding car to expensive and big wedding cars; three course meals in order to six course meals; 1 to 3 live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.
Talking about the second, wedding speeches remain an important part of a married relationship and guests do look ahead to hearing them, talking about them before, during as well as after they’ve been delivered.
We have all heard of wedding speeches delivered prior to the meal, throughout the meal and after your food, however it’s of an strong opinion how the father of the groom speech should be delivered after the meal. I am aware that for a lot of bridal party speakers i.e. Father of the Bride Speech, Father from the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (the 5 main speakers), they will prefer to hold the wedding speeches ahead of the meal, to enable them to enjoy their meal (a number of them are spending money for it!). However, it is all about the invited guests and just how many of them (and even the marriage venue staff) would like the wedding ceremony speeches to get delivered following your meal for many reasons, many of which include:
The invited guests happen to be fed and watered and aren’t listening to wedding speeches before eating anything (at least of food, which will be the case prior to meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival in the wedding venue)
Food may be cooked and served in the agreed time (introduce the marriage speeches before the meal and their can be quite a delay of A quarter-hour to at least one.5 hours, driving your home staff crazy always keeping food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The wedding speeches work as the transition through the meal on the dancing (broke happening following the meal, folks are expecting ‘a few words’ to become shared regarding the Bride & Groom after which they know they could stand up, move, come out, take a stroll, visit the bar…)
It’s not easy for moms and dads from the Bride & Groom to communicate in public, since most of them couldn’t survive used of computer. So, they could, when they so wished, speak prior to / their meal.
There should always be some type of formal wedding speech(es) after the meal…
