How weddings have changed within the decades! Coming from a handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight wedding ceremony members; a simple wedding car to expensive and large wedding cars; three course meals to six course meals; 1-3 live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.

While we’re talking about the second, wedding speeches continue to be a fundamental part of being married and guests do look forward to hearing them, speaking about them before, during and even after they’ve been delivered.

We are all aware of wedding speeches delivered before the meal, during the meal after your food, however it is of a strong opinion that this wedding speeches must be delivered as soon as the meal. I am aware that for several marriage ceremony speakers i.e. Father in the Bride Speech, Father in the groom speech (the 5 main speakers), they would choose to possess the wedding speeches before the meal, to enable them to enjoy their meal (some of them are paying for it!). However, is going on the invited guests and exactly how most of them (and even the marriage venue staff) would like the marriage speeches to get delivered following the meal for most reasons, some of which include:

The invited guests have already been fed and watered and aren’t playing wedding speeches before eating any breakfast (at least of food, which may be the case prior to the meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival in the wedding venue)
Food may be cooked and served at the agreed time (introduce the wedding speeches before the meal in addition to their could be a delay of Fifteen minutes to 1.5 hours, driving living rooms staff crazy attempting to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
Wedding ceremony speeches become the transition in the meal on the dancing (without a penny happening as soon as the meal, individuals are expecting ‘a few words’ to be shared about the Bride & Groom then they do know they could get up, move, take a rest, go for a walk, visit the bar…)
It’s not easy for moms and dads from the Bride & Groom to communicate in public, as most of them would not be used from it. So, they can, when they so wished, speak ahead of the / their meal.

There should always be some type of formal wedding speech(es) following the meal…
