A new 2016 Xmas rock n roll tune has been written, created and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key purpose of getting attention and exposure for the Phuket charities and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day site .

The tunes name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs sound is a special up-tempo rock/rock-pop track. Mark wrote and semi studio recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo track since then looking forward to the opportunity to record once again. In August 2016 Mark began the recording process and used session musicians to studio record the tune over a six week period. The track consists of 8 differant tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the lead artist ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was done in the United States as a result of Mark wanted the very best result and quality. The song is currently ready to be heard and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site.
The key aim of studio recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many visits to the Tsunami Day web site as we can and then hopefully in-turn they will be kind enough to donate to one or any of the Phuket island charities, and to also download the track.
The other primary goal is to get enough downloads of the music to help fund and setup a Phuket live music cafe with open stage and studio / training room on Phuket, which will offer free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged children from the area’s colleges and children’s orphanages. To date ‘La QingTing’ is not open yet but the web site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day website to market his song Tsunami Day that was influenced from his own personal experiences while he was working in Patong back in 2004 once the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and . On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there’s numerous ways to greatly help including a Phuket Resort and cheap flights to Thailand booking system. Every penny helps.
