Platinum Star Media Group Inc. is reeling immediately from the wake of misconduct allegations being levied against founder and CEO Marie Lemelle. Here’s might know about know.

Misconduct allegations against Lemelle first emerged publicly in July 2024 when SoCal Impact reported they had completed a year-long investigation.

Recently, Lemelle been specifically in news reports for telecomutting saves gas advocacy controversy. Leaders from victims rights organizations happen to be vocal about Lemelle’s conduct since court documents emerged. Experts have condemned Lemelle’s seemingly double life.
Lemelle has been blamed for falsely accusing a domestic violence victim of violence. A Los angeles coalition released a scathing report a week ago detailing findings of egregious misconduct and misrepresentation by Lemelle. SoCal Impact investigators reported the misconduct had triggered a practice of intimidation by Lemelle, their investigation found.
Investigators determined that “Lemelle, through overt and intentional acts mistreated and violated the victim in a number of ways, like inhumane imposing of burdens, relentless and unremitting subjection to suffering, intimidation, permitting intimidating predatorily conduct, bearing false witness under oath in the court of justice against a criminal offence victim who posed no immediate threats, and abuse of power, especially by the unjust exercise of authority,” the coalition announced.
Lemelle denies the claims.
“The investigation was not capable to substantiate any of the personal attacks levied up against the crime victim by Lemelle. The victim is credible and also the attacks around the victim are really alarming, several prominent leaders said,” the report stated.
“The acts were deemed shameful for anyone who states empower girls, Gen Z and subsequently generation around the Social Good Movement Tour and who says he will advocate for the empowerment of females locally, nationally, and globally,” the coalition said.
The California businesswoman owns multiple enterprises including Pitbull PR Agency Inc., and Angel City Salute (ACS). Lemelle is often a former City of Glendale Commissioner about the Status of girls, according to The L.A. Times.
In a statement Thursday morning, a spokesperson for your Town of Glendale said “we are certainly not allowed to comment” as a result of the claims.
“The best investigations expose wrongdoing or injustice and spark reform. We the mouth area . give voice on the voiceless,” the coalition said.
“By improving transparency into investigations, SoCal Impact expects the number of cases reported to improve and can become a deterrent and prevent misconduct,” the report stated.
