To try to overhaul its educational system and make preparations more high school graduates for the global economy, the U.S. recently introduced a brand new group of educational standards, called the Common Core State Standards (CCSS), for K-12 education. Ths issue, say critics with the Common Core, is because they try and institutionalize a “national curriculum” for states and local districts.
